The Byron Town Board will be holding an Informational Meeting on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the South Byron Fire Hall, 7389 Rte. 237, South Byron, NY to discuss the formation of a possible fire district between the Byron Fire Department No. 1 and the South Byron Volunteer Fire Co., Inc. All interested parties are invited to attend.
The Town of Byron is accepting applications for the position of Planning Board Alternate and Zoning Board of Appeals Member and Alternate. Interested persons should be residents of the Town of Byron. The appointment for Zoning Board of Appeals member is for a five-year term, and the appointments for Planning Board Alternate and Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate are for a three-year term.
